For the Metropolitan City of Florence, Maffeis Engineering did the executive  project of the pedestrian walkway that connects the train station of San Donnino  with the urban area of Badia A Settimo.

It’s characterized by a 180 meter-long span, built in “Cor.Ten” steel, with an  intermediate stack simulating a huge megalith.

The whole process has been managed in the BIM environment, from the  topographic survey, the form analysis, 3D, 4D and 5D models.

All the carpentry has been parameterized with visual programming (using  Dynamo), in order to conduct every change in a few seconds and with  immediate results concerning reports and quantities.
