About

Matthew has been working for Maffeis Engineering since 2017. He engages in structural engineering, design, project management, and technical review & QA/QC. He is a Professional Engineer, both in Canada and the USA, consulting on Canadian and US projects at several Canadian design firms. His role has covered the project delivery spectrum, from project management, quality control, and specification writing as project lead, to field review and contract administration for projects under construction. He has competency in a diverse range of project typologies: steel, cable/fabric, ETFE, reinforced concrete, wood, structural glass/facade, aluminum, and masonry construction media, and working on residential (luxury private and multi), commercial, institutional, and custom fabrication projects. He is also experienced in façade engineering, detailing, and modeling, as well as working within a BIM environment and producing project deliverables through Revit.
