Maffeis Engineering’s scope of work was the design of the new Italy factory consisting of 8 buildings, in concrete, precast and steel, on piles foundations.​

The Entrance Building of the factory welcomes all the operators in a highly evolved energy envelope (built in Energy Class A) overlooking the hillside of Bologna. Inside the building there are ofces, conference centre, kitchen with free flow restaurant, gym and modern changing rooms for all employees​.
