Maffeis Engineering performed the full design of the tensioned cable net structure supported on steel arches for this shading canopy project. Suspended from the cable net structure are approximately 3,000 aluminum panels with a decorative design, inspired by indigenous creative art. The steel arches vary in shape and size, crossing a 440 m distance (at a height of 10 m), linking Perth Stadium to the Swan River Pedestrian Bridge.
